The influence of maternal depression and feeling of pregnancy on the internalizing and externalizing problem behavior of children : Focusing on the experience of parent education

Abstract
The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of maternal depression and during pregnancy emotion on the internalizing and externalizing problem behaviors of infants according to the presence or absence of parent education. Data were analyzed using SPSS 18.0 program for 989 subjects. The results of this study were as follows: First, mothers who experienced parent education showed lower pre-depression than mothers who did not experience parent education, and they also had positive feelings during pregnancy. And there was a difference according to the presence of parent education. Second, mothers who experienced parent education showed a correlation between each variables. Third, the mothers who experienced parent education had pre-natal depression and pregnancy feelings affecting internalizing and externalizing problem behaviors of infants. Finally, we discuss the results and suggest suggestions for future research.
